 According to Chinese
cosmetics records, the "Compendium of Materia Medica", and
modern medical research, the bird's nest contains a large
quantity of biological protein molecules. These molecules comprise of a
wide spectrum of amino acids, sugars, salts and vitamins. It is
beneficial to human skin in promoting cell growth and enhancing skin immunity to harmful
UV rays and radicals. Other effects are:
nourishes the skin, lightens the skin, tightens pores,
increases skin elasticity and delays aging. These very properties
are reinforced by the essence of seawater pearls. The essence of both
these substances are extracted and enmeshed in the masks. Upon
application, you can feel the active ingredients drenching the skin.

These bird's nests are
not made from twigs and straw but are the dried spittle of cave-dwelling
swifts, a breed of swallows found mainly along the coast of southern
China and South East Asia, and inland where nature provides the
requisite caves. Their gelatinous saliva contains predigested seaweed
and adheres the nests to the cave walls. The collecting of these nests
is a precarious business and, in addition to the rarity of the
commodity, must contribute to its great expense.
'Black' nests and 'white' nests are made by different
species of swift, which usually occupy different caves. In managed
wildlife areas there are strict rules about when collection of nests
should take place. A first collection is when the swifts have made their
nests and before they have laid their eggs. This means they have to set
about making more nests. The second collection is allowed after the
swiftlets have hatched and flown away.

variety of amino acids and pearl extracts.
[ Usage ]
Wash your face with warm water. Apply the mask
tightly on the face, pat gently to let it adhere to the skin. Peel
the mask off after 15-20 minutes. Of course, it can be left on the skin
for a longer period if desired. Discard after use, wipe the
liquid on the face with makeup cotton or wet towel.
 As
bird's nest is an expensive substance, it is produced to a high degree
of standard by a ISO certified company.
